My New Journey - Days 12 & 13 (start)

 

Day 12 - Thursday, May 11, 2023

It was another stormy day. Spent the night at Love’s last night. Got up and showered (couldn’t find a trucker, so just paid for the shower). Did some laundry and let Bali run a little bit in their little dog park.

We went to a nearby park and sat in the car . Good time to get caught up on computer work. Read some and fixed tuna sandwiches for dinner before heading to another place to sleep for the night.

Day 13 - Friday, May 12, 2023 (start)

Woke up at Cracker Barrel this morning. Went in and had a couple eggs, coffee and bacon for breakfast. Went to a Pilot’s and was able to find a trucker who shared his points with me to get a free shower (thank you, trucker Ted).

On the way to Nashville, TN to stay with a friend. First, Bali needs a bath! She is very furry and getting ready to blow her coat. And she feels sticky, which is probably from the humid air.
