Day 21 - Saturday, May 20, 2023
Left the truck stop we stayed at in Limon, CO in the morning.
Let's get lost! Hee...Hee... Yes, that's what my hat says!
A nice looking Morgan.
A church along the way.
From there, we drove to our campsite at Mueller State Park in Divide, Colorado. It was a bit pricey ($38 + $10 state entrance fee), but it had electricity. We just got settled in, when I could hear the thunder in the distance. Then came the thunder, lightning and hail. It was only pea-size hail, but it sure did bring down a lot of it.
I watched some TV (thank you for wifi) and Bali slept in her bed. About 10PM, it really started getting cold. Bali jumped up in bed with me and I put her under the blankets. Then I turned my little heater on. It's small and doesn't do much, but I was very thankful for it. The campsite itself was great. Spots were well spaced out and it was quiet all night. I know because I hardly slept. I got 2 hours sleep, if that. Just uncomfortable and cold. Bali slept well though and that's what counts. 😀
