My New Journey - Day 23

 

Day 23 - Monday, May 22, 2023

The smoke was back as we left in the morning. We’re headed up to Wyoming, so I know it will just get worse. 

Stopped at a rest stop in Rock River, WY. 

Made it to Rawlins and got off the Interstate. We picked up a hitch-hiker in Rawlins, WY.

Using the GPS to find a gas station, I got lost. LOL! Nothing new to me.

The rest of the day was driving 2-lane US highways and it was beautiful.

Saw some wildlife as well.

Going into Wind River, WY, we hit the Painted Hills. Pictures just don’t do it justice.

And this is the Wind River.

The weather went from 80+ to 50+. By the time we were ready to stop, it was pouring rain and very windy. Got a motel for the night and didn’t realize how really tired I was.

I’ll leave you with this silly girl. If you want to see wildlife, stay tuned for tomorrow. There will most definitely be wildlife!
